1. Information & Permissions We Collect
- Account Details: Name, email address, profile picture (via authentication), and optional phone number.
- City & Community Preferences: Selected city (e.g. Lucknow, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad) and anjumans followed to deliver relevant local majalis listings.
- Push Notifications (Permission Requested): Used exclusively to deliver majlis start alerts, Ayyam-e-Aza commemorations, verified anjuman announcements, and urgent safety broadcasts. You can toggle notifications on/off in Settings at any time.
- Location Data (Permission Requested): With your permission, coarse or precise location is used to display nearby Imambaras and assist emergency dispatch in the Juloos SOS safety beacon. We do not track your location in the background when the app is closed.
- Contacts Sync (Optional & Permission Requested): Used solely to help you discover friends attending the same majalis and invite momineen. Contact data is encrypted, never sold, never rented, and never shared with third-party advertising networks.
- Camera & Photo Library (Permission Requested): Used to let organizers upload majlis posters, anjuman banners, and profile images.
- In-App Purchases & Payment Metadata: Transaction records (Order ID, amount in INR, payment method, timestamp) for listing boosts, sponsored ads, and custom invoice links. Raw card/bank details are securely processed by PCI-compliant partners (Razorpay / Stripe) and never stored on our servers.
2. User-Generated Content Disclaimer
All announcements, community feed posts, comments, and majalis details posted by users represent the views and legal responsibility of the individual author. Azadari Connect provides the communication medium and is not legally liable for user-submitted content.
3. Data Retention & Security
Your data is stored with 256-bit SSL encryption. We retain active account data while your account is open. You may permanently delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting our support desk.
